Naturist campsite Terme d’Astor is located in the Dordogne, one of France’s most renowned regions. Close to the campsite, you’ll find towns such as Bouillac (2 km), Sarlat, and Bergerac (45 km). By car, you can tour the Bergerac vineyards. Just a few kilometres south of Bergerac lies the Monbazillac Castle, where you can sample dessert wines. From here, you’ll enjoy a stunning view over the Dordogne Valley.
The area around the naturist campsite is also famous for its caves. Very near to naturist campsite Terme d’Astor, you’ll find the Maxange and Proumeyssac dripstone caves, the latter also known as the "Cathedral of Crystal." The Lascaux caves, famous for their prehistoric animal paintings, were only discovered in 1940.
Canoeing is possible on the Dordogne River (17 km). Golfing is available 18 km from naturist campsite Terme d’Astor.
