Beach just 200 metres away, endless pine forests and the fresh Atlantic Ocean: at textile campsite Ondres Océan, you experience pure freedom on the southwest coast of France.
You stay in the Landes, a region known for its wide sandy beaches and relaxed pace of life. The campsite is set in the heart of a pine forest, in a calm and natural setting, just 200 metres from the ocean. The atmosphere is easy-going and relaxed. After an active day, it’s a pleasure to return here. You put your chair outside, pour yourself a drink and simply enjoy the moment and the nature around you.
At Camping Ondres Océan, you camp exactly how you like it. The spacious pitches offer plenty of room for your tent, caravan or motorhome. You choose whether you prefer sun or shade beneath the trees. Many pitches have their own water and electricity connections, adding extra comfort to your stay. The sanitary facilities have been recently renovated and are well maintained. There is also a swimming pool, snack bar, bar, small shop and fresh bread available daily. In high season, there is light entertainment in keeping with the campsite’s calm atmosphere. Active guests can follow the Vélodyssée cycle route or enjoy a game of beach volleyball or tennis.
The surroundings invite you to explore. The naturist beach Plage Sud d’Ondres is about 300 metres further along the coast, just beyond the textile zone. This 1.8-kilometre stretch is popular with naturists and offers plenty of space and tranquillity. The ocean can be rough here at times, so swimming is not always ideal, but the atmosphere is open and relaxed. The French Basque Country (56 km) is also within easy reach. Hop in the car and discover charming villages, local markets and welcoming restaurants where you can enjoy fresh fish and regional specialities. Also worth a visit: Biarritz (20 km) or Bayonne (14 km), perfect for a mix of culture, sea views and lively terraces.
