The Haute-Garonne department is well worth a visit. It features countless picturesque villages, often accessible only via winding country roads passing through sunflower fields and vineyards. This is primarily an agricultural area, where farming plays a significant role. The region is interspersed with numerous rivers, offering refreshing lakes and a rolling landscape perfect for hiking. Golf enthusiasts will appreciate the many courses in the area, with the nearest course about a 20-minute drive away.
