The large pool forms the heart of the resort. Stretch out on the wide sunbathing lawn, take a refreshing swim or let your children splash around in the kids’ pool. Hotel Vritomartis also has its own naturist beach. Fylakì Beach is just 700 metres away, about a ten to fifteen minute walk through a typical Cretan landscape with sheep and goats. A free shuttle runs to and from the beach, and complimentary beach towels are provided. On the pebbly shore you can rent sunbeds and parasols, and there’s a well-stocked snack bar.

Good to know: clothing is optional in all outdoor areas of the hotel. Indoors, clothing is required (at least a towel or pareo).

There’s plenty to discover nearby. Chora Sfakion lies just 2 kilometres away – a small fishing village with inviting tavernas and mountain views. The hotel also arranges excursions to impressive gorges such as Aradena and Imbros, or you can board a naturist boat trip to hidden bays and the unique island of Gavdos, the southernmost point of Europe.
