Greece boasts an impressive 1,450 islands. In addition to these islands, there is the Greek mainland and the Peloponnese peninsula. Ancient treasures, ruins, and archaeological sites can be found everywhere. Everyone is familiar with the Acropolis in Athens, which can be seen from almost every corner of the city. The Greeks are very hospitable, especially towards tourists. There are many churches, as religion plays an important role in the daily lives of many Greeks, but dancing and singing are also central to their culture. In addition to the well-known Greek folk dance, the Sirtaki, there are many other traditional dances. With its delightful climate, Greece is a perfect destination for a naturist holiday!
Due to Greece's proximity to Turkey, you’ll notice that many dishes appear on menus in both countries, such as Moussaka (spiced minced meat with potatoes), Souvlaki (meat skewers), or Dolmades (stuffed vine leaves). The signature drink in Greece is Ouzo. Ouzo is a strong anise-flavoured alcoholic drink. You can dilute it with water to make it less strong, which also gives it a lovely milky-white colour.
