Beautifully secluded in Puntagorda
La Verada is located in the quiet northwest of La Palma, in the municipality of Puntagorda. The region is known for its red soil, old hiking paths and spectacular cliffs. Around the house you’ll find a relaxed, authentic atmosphere. You mainly hear birds, the sound of the wind and occasionally someone working in the vegetable garden. Here, you enjoy complete privacy.
Relax by the pool
The property features a lovely swimming pool with sun loungers, a sunny terrace with pergola and a covered barbecue. Indoors, the house is warm and cosy with wooden ceilings, a fireplace and a snug salón comedor. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, ceramic hob, blender and coffee maker. Thanks to the strong Wi-Fi and satellite TV, there is plenty of entertainment.
The house is compact but comfortable, with two bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and practical amenities such as a washing machine, ironing board, hairdryer and terrace furniture. Everything is done in typical Canary style, so you instantly feel that island atmosphere. The large windows let in lots of light and offer beautiful panoramic views.

The surroundings invite you to walk through quiet pine forests, past old farmhouses and between white almond trees. The region is known for its beautiful viewpoints, such as Miraflores and Matos, and cliffs like the Costa de Hiscaguán. You’re close to local markets, small cafés and lovely hiking routes towards El Pinar, San Amaro or El Fayal.
A special fact: Puntagorda is known for its unique honey, produced by the black bee that exists only on La Palma. Beekeepers here produce varieties from coastal flowers, heather or chestnut. Be sure to try a jar at the local market, where you’ll also meet friendly locals who enjoy sharing stories about their traditions.
