About Bali

Bali is the most popular holiday destination in Indonesia for many Dutch and Belgian travellers. The island is located in Southeast Asia, between Java and Lombok. Unlike the rest of Indonesia, where Islam is the dominant religion, Bali is predominantly Hindu. Hinduism plays an important role in the daily lives of the Balinese people, which is evident across the island in music, traditional dances, and numerous religious ceremonies. Hindus in colourful garments offer flowers and food to their gods. Temples can be found everywhere on the island, ranging from impressively large structures to small, inconspicuous ones by the roadside. Nearly every Balinese resort has its own altar or even a small temple. Bali’s natural beauty is also breathtaking, with tropical rainforests covering the island and stunning views of the terraced rice fields (sawahs).

Naturist Beaches

Topless sunbathing and naturism are prohibited on Bali, which is why there are no official naturist beaches.

Best Travel Period

The least rainfall on Bali occurs between May and October.

Attractions in Bali

The cultural heart of Bali is Ubud, where you can experience authentic woodcarving, the enchanting sounds of gamelan orchestras, and mesmerising dance performances. In the north, near Lovina, you can spot dolphins and go snorkelling. The most beautiful beaches, such as Amed Beach, are located in the east. There are countless temples across the island, each more stunning than the last. Along the southern coast, you’ll find several sea temples, with Pura Tanah Lot being one of the most famous. Bali’s largest and most important temple complex is Pura Besakih.

Food and Drink

From fresh fruit smoothies to typical Indonesian dishes like gado gado and nasi goreng. Rice is the staple ingredient, often served with vegetables and meat. On almost every street corner, you’ll find a warung – a simple food stall with a few tables and chairs, where you can enjoy delicious meals for just a few euros.

Flights to Bali

The airport is located near the capital, Denpasar. The flight to Bali takes approximately 16 hours. Naturally, we can arrange your flight tickets to Bali, ensuring your naturist holiday is organised from start to finish.

We wish you a wonderful naturist holiday in Bali!
