The definition of naturism is as follows: naturism is a lifestyle in harmony with nature. It is characterised by communal nudity with the aim of promoting self-respect, respect for others, and care for nature and the environment. Naturism is therefore not only about being nude, as opposed to nudism. It’s more about the liberating experience and respect for each other and nature.
Being nude
Whether you’re young, old, big, or small, among naturists, it doesn’t matter, as every body is unique and deserves to be seen. Once you’re in the company of others without clothes, boundaries and shame fade away. Status or high ranks no longer matter. Everyone is equal.
Differences
There are many differences in terms of frequency and location of nudity. Some naturists prefer to be nude as often as possible (even at home), while others only do so in the sauna, occasionally visit a nude beach, or go on a naturist holiday.
