Peace and space in the green heart of the Algarve

Cabanadelsol is set in the countryside near Alte, right in the heart of the authentic Algarve. Here, French hosts Serge and Patricia have been welcoming guests since 2011. Their beautiful B&B is built on the region’s characteristic red soil, creating a striking contrast with the lush greenery of the surrounding olive and fig trees. The grounds cover a total of 5000m², giving you plenty of space to enjoy outdoor living in complete privacy. With more than 300 sunny days a year, Cabanadelsol is also an excellent place to spend the winter!

Relax by the pool, unwind in the sauna and enjoy shared moments

Around the pool, comfortable sun loungers are set on a wooden terrace overlooking the valley. Warm up in the sauna or the hot tub, with bathrobes provided. At the pool bar, you can help yourself to coffee or tea while soft music plays in the background. Start your morning with an extensive breakfast buffet on the terrace. For lunch or dinner, make use of the shared kitchen or fire up the barbecue. Friendly, relaxed moments often come naturally here, from spontaneous BBQ evenings to laid-back brunches.

The five suites are stylishly and comfortably furnished, each with its own character and private entrance. You’ll have a spacious room, a modern bathroom and a fridge in your room. Some suites offer direct access to the pool terrace, while others overlook the garden.

Discover the Algarve and truly unwind

The coast, with its golden beaches and dramatic cliffs, is just a short drive away. Visit, for example, the naturist beaches of Big Salgados Beach (20 minutes), Praia do Barril on Tavira Island (1 hour) and Salema Furnos (1 hour). Within an hour, you can also reach the summit of the Serra de Monchique, explore the water-rich Parque Natural da Ria Formosa, or visit charming towns and villages such as Lagos, Silves and Faro. Closer to home, you’ll find several walking trails, the picturesque village of Alte, as well as various golf courses and horse riding centres.
