Naturist Holiday on La Palma

La Palma is often called the island of eternal spring. This Canary Island is green, peaceful and unspoilt, with rugged mountains, volcanoes and vast forests. There is no mass tourism here, but plenty of space, tranquillity and a relaxed atmosphere. This makes La Palma very suitable for a naturist holiday focused on nature and freedom.

Nature and hiking

La Palma is a paradise for hikers. You walk through deep ravines, across lava fields and through green pine and laurel forests, with constant views of the ocean. Popular routes take you to impressive heights and viewpoints, where clouds sometimes drift below you like a sea.

Nude beaches on La Palma

La Palma also offers pleasant spots for naturists. A well-known beach is the naturist beach near Puerto de Tazacorte on the west coast. Thanks to the relaxed atmosphere and the spacious coastline, you can often find a quiet place to enjoy the sun and sea in peace.

Food and drink

The cuisine on La Palma is simple and full of flavour, using many local products. Think of fresh fish, stews and dishes with potatoes and herb-rich sauces. The island also produces local wines, partly thanks to the fertile volcanic soil. In small villages and harbour towns, you can best experience the local atmosphere on a terrace overlooking the sea.

Stargazing on La Palma

La Palma is famous for its clear night skies. Due to limited light pollution, it is one of the best places in Europe for stargazing. A special location is Roque de los Muchachos, where you not only enjoy breathtaking panoramic views but also find the famous observatory.

Flying to La Palma

From the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany there are flights to La Palma depending on the season, often with a stopover or as charter flights. If you are flexible with your travel dates, you can often find attractive fares. For extra convenience, it is helpful to coordinate your flight and accommodation together.

Getting around La Palma by car

A hire car is ideal for exploring La Palma. Distances are manageable, but due to the mountainous landscape travel times can sometimes be longer. With a car, you can easily drive from green hiking areas to coastal towns and beaches and discover the island entirely at your own pace. Car rental can be arranged in advance, so you can set off straight away upon arrival.
