Tenerife is the largest and most diverse island of the Canary Islands. The island is known for its pleasant climate, varied landscapes and the impressive backdrop of Mount Teide, Spain’s highest mountain. From green valleys in the north to sunny beaches in the south, Tenerife offers plenty of opportunities for a relaxing and varied naturist holiday.
The nature on Tenerife is remarkably diverse. You will find volcanic landscapes, forests, ravines and coastal areas. Teide National Park is an absolute highlight, with its moon-like scenery and impressive panoramic views. The green Anaga Mountains in the north also invite you to enjoy hiking and nature experiences.
Tenerife has several beaches where nude recreation is tolerated or generally accepted. A well-known example is Playa de los Patos in the north of the island, which is especially popular with naturists due to its quiet location. Along more remote stretches of coastline and in small coves, you can often enjoy the sun and sea in peace.
The cuisine of Tenerife is varied and based on local products. Fresh fish, seafood and meat dishes are combined with potatoes and flavourful sauces such as mojo rojo and mojo verde. Local wines and cheeses are also well worth tasting. In both traditional guachinches and modern restaurants, you can discover the culinary side of the island.
There are direct flights to Tenerife from the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany throughout the year. The island has two airports, Tenerife South and Tenerife North, making it easily accessible. Thanks to the wide range of flights, attractive prices are often available.
A hire car is a great way to explore Tenerife. The roads are well maintained and take you easily from coastal resorts to mountain villages and natural areas. With a car, you set your own pace and can also reach less touristy spots. Car rental can be arranged in advance, so you can set off straight away upon arrival.
